Due to the weather forecast for Friday, Water Day has been rescheduled for Monday, June 2 from 12-2 at White Sulphur Elementary. Field Day will also be on Monday, June 2 from 8-11 at Memorial Park in town. Permission sips will be sent home on Thursday.

Get on the bus, enroll with us! Greenbrier County Schools will host a Pre-K Enrollment Day on June 4th from 9 am-2 pm at the Pre-K Office located at Greenbrier East High School. The following items are needed to enroll:
-Pre K Enrollment packet (can be obtained by completing an online pre-application at www.greenbriercountyschools.org and clicking on the Enrollment Tab)
-State Issued Birth Certificate (The Birth Certificate obtained at the courthouse will not be accepted)
-Social Security Card
-Insurance Card
-Proof of residency (2 items with the family's physical address)
-Proof of income (2024 tax return, Proof of SNAP benefits, Child Support)
-Immunization Record
Families who applied previously will receive an email and text regarding enrollment on or before June 9th.


This message is for all 5th grade parents and guardians. You are invited to attend DARE Graduation on Tuesday, May 27 at 9am in the gym.

White Sulphur Elementary will have menu changes for lunch this week. On Thursday, students will have pepperoni rolls. On Friday, students will have pork BBQ sandwiches.

There is still time to purchase a 2024-2025 White Sulphur Elementary Yearbook. The yearbook has 40 colored pages of individual, class, and group pictures. Cost of the yearbook is $27. Make checks payable to White Sulphur Elementary. Please call the school if you have any questions.

This message is for all parents of students who participate in the After School Program. The last day of the After School Program will be Thursday, May 22. Please send a note to let your child's teacher know what the new routine will be starting May 23 until the end of year.

This message is for all 4th and 5th grade students and parents at White Sulphur Elementary. All 5th grade students will take the state Math test tomorrow, Thursday, May 15. 4th grade students will take the state Math test on Friday, May 16. Thank you.

Come join our phenomenal Preschool program! Classrooms are available at each elementary school and Greenbrier East High School. Our WV PK program was recently ranked #4 in the nation for high quality preschool services and developmentally appropriate practices. This student is in Ms. Amanda's and Ms. Rebekah's class at Greenbrier East High School. At graduation practice, he spontaneously exclaimed, "I love school!" #PreK Proud


Just a reminder that the WSSE PTO will meeting today, Tuesday, May 6 at 5:30pm in the computer lab. They will be reviewing the Title 1 Parent Compact and planning for the next school year. Hope to see you there.

The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine will be doing vision screenings at White Sulphur Elementary School on Monday, March 31. If you want your child to participate in the screening, please make sure you complete and return the permission slip consent form by Friday, March 28.

Just a reminder that Eastern Greenbrier Middle School would like to invite the 5th grade students and their parents to a 5th grade information night. 2025-2026 Pre-K & Kindergarten Registration Dates
Greenbrier County Schools (GCS) will host preschool and kindergarten registration on two dates and locations for children who will be four years old before July 1, 2025, for preschool and five years old before July 1, 2025, for kindergarten. Students currently enrolled in a GCS Pre-K program will be automatically enrolled in kindergarten in their home school district; therefore, parents of GCS Pre-K students will not need to attend a registration session.
Preschool and Kindergarten registration will take place at the following locations: March 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Greenbrier County Board of Education Office, Kyle & Ann Fort Center, 653 Church St., Lewisburg March 19 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Western Greenbrier Middle School, 315 Timberwolf Drive, Crawley What to bring (children do not need to be present to register):
Preschool parents should complete the online application atwww.greenbriercountyschools.org
- Official State-issued birth certificate (not a copy);
- immunization record;
- a copy of current physical exam -
- copy of the most recent dental exam
- two proofs of residency
- social security card of the child; and - relevant custody order, if applicable
- Preschool parents should also bring proof of income. -
- Preschool parents should also bring a copy of their child’s insurance card
